Julia is a litigation lawyer advising clients across Ontario in complex family disputes, particularly those that involve significant financial interests and sensitive family conflicts.

Her practice focuses on resolving high-stakes disputes involving property division, support, parenting arrangements, and other litigation.  Julia is known for her strategic approach to complex litigation, combining careful negotiation with decisive courtroom advocacy when proceedings cannot be resolved privately.

Earlier in her career, Julia practised civil litigation at a Toronto boutique recognized for complex negligence matters, developing experience in technically demanding litigation.  She later repurposed these technical skills when she refocused her practice on family litigation, representing clients in financially sophisticated disputes and contested proceedings.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, Julia served as a bilingual adjudicator with Tribunals Ontario, presiding over matters before the Licence Appeal Tribunal, the Child and Family Services Review Board, and the Custody Review Board.  In that role she conducted hearings, issued written decisions interpreting provincial legislation, and contributed to the resolution of a substantial tribunal backlog.  Several of her decisions remain published on CanLII.

Despite being reappointed for an additional 3 years, Julia resigned to return to private practice at a large family law firm downtown Toronto.  While there she managed complex family litigation matters and helped develop an estate litigation initiative within the firm before deciding to launch her own litigation boutique.

Julia offers her clients a modern practice designed to provide discreet and effective representation in both French and English.
